Jack Campbell honoured by Sport NB with Lifetime Achievement Award

Longtime Volleyball Official and volunteer Jack Campbell (Fredericton) was honoured by Sport NB with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Pitney Bowes Sport Awards at the Crowne Plaza Beaverbrook in Fredericton recently.

Jack is a Level 4 (National) Volleyball Official who spends much of his time as the Referee Zone Assigner for the Capital Region and Treasurer for the VNB Officials Association. As a teacher at Albert Street Middle School, he coached many years and coached at the Canada Games in 1979 and 1985.

Jack spent the evening amongst his volleyball official peers, his wife Madeleine and two daughters.

Jill Blanchard (Saint John), a Canada Games beach volleyball player for Team NB, member of the National Beach team and representative of Team Canada-NB at the Francophonie Games in Beirut Lebanon was a finalist for the Comfort inn Female Athlete of the Year which was awarded to wrestler Krista Betts (Bass River).
