Team NB Beach teams remain undefeated at Canada Games in PEI, as Team NB Women upset Team BC

On Day 3 of competition, the NB Men's swept their match against Team PEI (Costa-Hansen) guaranteeing Team NB a top 2 finish in their pool. The NB Women's match of the Day against Team BC (Marcelle-Jansen Van Doorn) was televised live on TSN2. Team NB passed efficiently to capture the match in two straight sets to the biggest crowd of the week to date.

On Day 2 of competition at Canada Games, the women's duo of Hillary Cummings (Sussex) and Jill Blanchard (Saint John) relinquished their first set to Saskatchewan (Tokarski-Lustig) but returned to form taking the second set and the third set 15-7. The men's team swept their Atlantic rivals from Nova Scotia (MacLean-Hughes) to further their record to 2-0.

On Day 1 of Competition at Canada Games, the Men's NB duo of Ryley Boldon (Fredericton) and Kyle Blanchard (Saint John) swept Team NL (Winsor-Simms) 2-0 (21-9, 21-6), in front of a crowd of 350 fans. Strong serving and efficient attacks led to the victory.

On Day 4 (Wednesday August 19) Team NB Women will play Team Ontario (3-0) while Team NB Men will take on Team BC (3-0), both at 10:00am and the Women will play Team Newfoundland and Labrador (0-3) at 5:00pm at Credit Union Place in Summeside
