Award Nomination Categories and Criteria

ATHLETE : A male or female athlete who has shown a combination of leadership, performance and positive attitude for his/her team both on and off the court. A player with character and integrity who has achieved outstanding success
as a competitor.

COACH : An individual who has led their team to a consistently high level of performance during the season while modeling the principles of fair play and sportsmanship. One who contributes to the development and advancement of his/her athletes.

OFFICIAL : An individual who has exhibited commitment in the performance of their duties as a referee and continues to develop their referring skills.

VOLUNTEER : An individual of outstanding leadership who has shown a consistently high level of dedication and service while enhancing the sport of volleyball.

HALL OF FAME : An individual who is recognized for their outstanding achievements and has made a major contribution to the development and advancement of volleyball in our province.

SPECIAL RECOGNITION : VNB may choose to present special awards to recognize individuals who have made a special or outstanding contribution to the sport of volleyball.
